I don't want to offend when I say that I enjoy having a diet primarily of meat (e.g. mostly chicken and beef, occasionally pork), because I believe that it's in nature's dog-eat-dog, food chain-based, cycle-of-life ways of survival. Although what goes on in breeding farms and slaughterhouses is indeed grotesque, I think that because of their useful expense, we can be fed and survive. It's a sad thing sometimes, but I find it true.

However, that philosophy doesn't apply to furred clothes, scaled boots, etc. It's just a commodity (at least to me) that yields no particular use other than unnecessary luxury (which I'm willing to wager can be easily replicated synthetically). In a nutshell, I believe the consumption of animals is useful and necessary, but beating them and skinning them (in the most brutally sadistic of fashions, might I add) is just flat-out uncalled for. I mean, seriously, you don't need to hold an animal's feet and slam its face onto the hard ground or beat it with a stick a thousand times just to skin it, only to have it squirming at its last breaths afterwards. If you're going to kill it just for its fur, just kill it, don't sit around having fun torturing it like a bunch of sadomasochistic BDSM-addicted fetishists. It's not like you can't kill an animal quick and silenty without a mess. -_-

I don't want to type a novel here, but understanding your sentiments, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I've seen that video before, and it's truly a dismal sight, and not for the faint of heart. x.x Good picture, by the way; definitely has a statement. I'm glad that you feel the same way about fur clothes, at least somepeople understand that we can wear other materials.

The reason I drew a cat girl wearing fur is because we kill animals and wear their fur but we are selfs are animals. its like what if a bear killed and skinned a member of you family and wore them?

I can understand that yeah fur being taken like that for the sake of fashion is not right.
Should only be done when neccessary for surviving.
