Bye Bye Job, Hello Disneyland!!

So, after four years of harassment from my boss, I have decided to quit my job. It was a hard decision and one I had to dwell on for many months and talk to my boyfriend about, but we thought it best I leave as I was miserable there and often times came home in tears from how harsh my boss would treat me. Being a veterinary assistant is hard and stressful, as we dont just deal with cute little puppies and kittens but sick, injured, nasty and dying animals as well, but the most stressful part of my job was my boss who always seemed to pick me out and down grade me the most. I often came home in tears or so depressed from her words and attitude towards me that I had thought of killing myself. Of course that never happened but I did harm myself many times from her verbal abuse. I could go on and on about the many many stories of things she had said or done to me, but I dont want to draw this depressing part of my post out. I have given my notice and this is my last week, after that I am free to find a new job and more on with my life....

And just as it so happened, I decided to quit right before my trip to Disneyland! This trip is to celebrate my boyfriend and I's 5 year anniversary (It was in January of this year but it took us time to save up and we wanted to go for Halloween) so it has been planned for a while. I was only suppose to take two weeks off of work, one week for Disneyland and one week to lazy about at home but now I have no work to return to, and while I will have to deal with finding a new job once I return, for now I am looking forward to my trip and seeing Jack Skellington <3 I love Disney and Disneyland so much, this will be my fourth time there and my boyfriends first, so Im super excited to share this experience with him and show him around. I love running around the park, seeing all the characters and taking their pictures as well as having fun on the rides and eating junk food. Its a place where I feel comfortable and happy. I dont have to worry about work or responsibilities, I just get to run around like Im 10 again, getting my pictures taken and my books signed by my favorite Disney characters. I am act like a kid and no one will think Im strange, its awesome!
